**Job Description**:
**Job Purpose**

Corporate Security at CPP Investments develops and maintains a comprehensive and robust security, life safety and emergency response program to mitigate risks to our employees and assets. In support of this mandate, our group ensures the security of our global offices; tracks world events with potential to impact our employees; and responds in times of crisis, providing insights, relief, and recovery to normal business operations.

As a key member of the Corporate Security team, the Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the security posture of CPP Investments by coordinating and supporting critical aspects of CPP Investments’ global security and safety program and practices. The Analyst, Corporate Security will be based in Toronto, Ontario and will report to the Senior Advisor, Corporate Security.

**Major Accountabilities**
- Develop an understanding of the risk profiles, activities, and trends that impact our organization and use available data to transform information on issues of significance to CPP Investments into various intelligence products such as advisories, assessments, and briefings in order to enhance physical safety and security for CPP Investments’ employees and assets globally.
- Maintain Corporate Security metrics relative to partner engagement and the dissemination of various products.
- Support the overall security posture of the firm to identify and mitigate risks across our global footprint. Support the Corporate Security response to potential risks and vulnerabilities through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of information in a timely manner. This includes the proactive monitoring of threats that may impact the organization’s employees, assets, or operations.
- Assist with the Travel Risk Management Program by providing analytical support and monitoring for potential impacts.
- Assist with various tasks, as required, in support of enterprise projects, priorities or in support of corporate events.
- Assist with the periodic review and update of governance documents relative to security and safety. Audit, track and report on existing security and safety programs and assist with the development and implementation of security procedures, guidelines, and communications as well as related security awareness campaigns.
- Provide support, as required, to build presentations and report documents for executive management.

**Qualifications**:
**Specialized Knowledge**
- ** **Experience as an analyst within the security or intelligence community conducting deliverable products.
- Strong understanding of the intelligence production cycle (collection, analysis, reporting, and dissemination).
- Ability to deliver high quality reporting on complex issues in a high-tempo environment.
- Possess a high level of English-language writing capabilities.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant analytical experience in security / intelligence.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant threat intelligence collection and product creation.
