About the opportunity
The Vice President, Global Total Rewards is a trusted member of the HR leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer. You will oversee compensation, benefits, and ESPP for Dayforce’s global and fast-growing organization. As the VP, Global Total Rewards, you will work with your team of directors to lead the planning of competitive compensation programs, and design benefits programs that are cost-effective and provide best in class coverage. This role will work closely with senior business leaders, hiring managers, and HRBPs to translate business strategy into competitive Total Rewards strategies that are understood by employees and attract and retain high quality talent.
What you’ll get to do
- Develop and implement a holistic total rewards strategy aligned with the organization's mission, values, and strategic goals.
- Lead the design and administration of competitive compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, and equity compensation, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness. Significant focus on sales compensation oversight
- Own content planning and delivery for key agenda items at the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Provide information and context so that Compensation Committee members have information to make relevant decisions related to executive compensation.
- Oversee the management, optimization and continued harmonization of global employee benefits programs, including health and wellness plans, retirement benefits, and other perks, ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Manage executive compensation programs, including incentive plans, equity awards, and deferred compensation, in alignment with corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to develop compensation programs that effectively link rewards to individual and organizational performance, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement recognition and rewards initiatives that reinforce desired behaviors and drive employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies governing compensation and benefits practices, maintaining transparency and fairness.
- Utilize data analytics and benchmarking to assess the effectiveness of total rewards programs, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to enhance competitiveness and ROI.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to optimize the delivery of total rewards programs and services.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the total rewards team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Skills and experience we value
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Significant and progressive experience in total rewards management, with a focus on driving transformational change and innovation
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing total rewards strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational performance.
- Strong knowledge of compensation practices, including incentive design, market analysis, and pay equity principles.
- Expertise in leveraging technology and data analytics to enhance total rewards delivery and employee experience.
- Thorough understanding of benefits administration, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing executive compensation programs in a publicly traded company environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
