Pathmaker Service Co Ltd is looking for a Computer Torque Monitoring Technician / Thread Supervisors. Pathmaker is family owned and operated and has been proudly serving Alberta and BC's Oil and Gas Industry for over 40 years. This is an on-call 24/7 position. Applicants MUST live in Grande Prairie, AB. Employees are required to work at remote location sites. Installing casing or tubing on drilling or service rigs. Individuals with experience running Volant or DrawWorks Tools, Thread Supervising and running Power Tongs are also needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ensure all equipment is loaded and is in good working order.
- Obey all traffic laws and drive responsibly.
- Arrive to location on time and fit for duty.
- Abide by all site-specific practices, rules and orientations.
- Adhere to company policies and safety practices.
- Reliably and accurately monitor casing and tubing make-up using the WinCatt or MTT torque systems.
- Clean and inspect and prep casing and casing threads.
- Properly maintain and keep all equipment and vehicles clean.
- Practice good housekeeping in all shops and remote locations.
- Know how your equipment works and how to maintain it.

**Requirements**:

- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of connection running procedures, torque tables and API standards is an asset, but not required.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, while performing required tasks.
- Must have a strong attention to detail, and be well organized.
- Must be able to work well in a team setting and independently.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have steel-toed work boots and hard hat.
- Rig experience is an asset, but not required.
- Knowledgeable with computers

MUST HAVE:

- Valid and clean driver license
- H2S and First Aid
- Live in Grande Prairie or area
- Rig or Oilfield experience
- Pass a Drug, alcohol and fitness test
- Reliable means of transportation to the shop
- Reliable means of communication i.e: Cellphone.

Coveralls will be provided.
