Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests - Take drink orders and serve beverages in a timely manner - Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes - Ensure proper handling and storage of all bar supplies and ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area - Check identification to verify legal drinking age of customers - Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication - Process payments and operate the cash register - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations Experience: - Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficiency in bartending techniques, including mixing cocktails and pouring drinks - Familiarity with food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing tabs - Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus As a bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while providing exceptional customer service.
