Position Summary:
Tacten is seeking Rope Access Journeyperson Ironworker to support our client's site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. As a Rope Access Ironworker you will be a key member of our composite crew for executing the installation of structure beams and other Ironwork tasks.

Project Details:

- Located on an industrial site in Fort Saskatchewan, AB
- Shift will be Monday-Thursday 10 hour days, with potential to shift across projects into 5/2 and 6/1 shifts with overtime opportunities
- Long term project

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and understand blueprints and project layout
- Measure and cut metal parts to exact specifications
- Install or fabricate metal pieces into columns, girders, or other structural frameworks
- Repair or replace existing steel parts of buildings and other structures
- Operate crane ball and other machinery to move metal pieces into place
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good condition
- Follow all industry and governmental regulations on safety protocols

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Ironworker Certification Required
- IRATA Level 1 (Rope Access) ticket or willing to obtain IRATA Level 1 ticket
- CWB Certification considered a strong asset
- Experience in welding or construction in industrial environments preferred
- Proficient in industry tools and equipment, such as hand and power tools and welding devices
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
