Estimator/sales Leader

Wilson Plumbing Service is a large mechanical contractor specializing in high volume residential, custom homes, commercial, and midrise construction. Efficient Rental Solutions is an equipment rental business offering - Water treatment, water heaters, furnaces, air conditions, air purification etc. We are actively seeking a role in assisting with purchasing and estimating for our commercial and residential mechanical business, as well as selling and building our new ERS business. 30% of your time would be spent on purchasing / estimating, the remaining 70% on ERS.

Here is a brief list of duties and responsibilities:
Purchasing and Estimating
- Plan, organize, manage, control, evaluate, and optimize our companies material purchasing activities.
- Work with our purchasing and estimating team to identify and implement opportunities for cost reductions, increased profitability, and continual process improvement.
- Perform initial base plan estimating/costing for our residential and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare job specific estimates and budgets to produce purchase order packages for our residential and commercial projects.
- Assist in maintaining and updating accurate costs and inventory for all our inventory needs.
- Work with our internal team and trade partners to reduce and control variance costs.
- Work with our team to ensure estimating methods, cost data, and purchase order methods are up to date, accurate, and maintained in our database system.

ERS Sales leader
- Develop a business plan and a solid sales process that enables the growth and expansion of our business by building a customer base within the commercial and residential markets we operate in.
- Actively participate with our team to develop and execute marketing strategies that will elevate the ERS brand as a top brand in the rental space in our region.
- Deliver rapid growth associated with ERS offerings driving revenue and margin via the development and execution of key strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in our focused markets.
- Provide exceptional leadership to ERS across our target market that will ultimately result in a sales function that is recognized in the industry as best in class and outperforming its peers.

Compensation:

- $60,000 base salary, 6% commission on ERS Sales

Qualifications:

- Previous sales experience and proven sales track record required
- Post-secondary education or related industry experience
- Strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask to manage competing priorities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills required
- Must have proficient computer skills, should be familiar with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s license
- Ability to execute individual and company business growth plans

Previous trade experience preferred but not required

**Experience**:

- construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
