Research Coordinator

Reporting to the division managers, Schizophrenia Division, the Schizophrenia Division is currently seeking a full-time, contract (1 year) Research Coordinator to support on-going research activities, with a focus on a large cohort project. The Research Coordinator will oversee research study operations, including:
- Assisting with the management of the study (e.g., participant recruitment and enrollment)
- Collaborating with study investigators and stakeholders
- Overseeing the data collection process (administering questionnaires, facilitating interviews, data entry) while supporting and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures;
- Supporting the training and supervision of staff conducting clinical assessments
- Assisting with fiscal management and supporting the reporting obligations
- Assisting with the design of online surveys and analyzing data;
- Supporting with presentation and manuscript preparation;
- Maintaining research documentation according to the appropriate guidelines;
- Reviewing scientific literature and conducting comprehensive literature reviews;
- Supporting the preparation of grant submissions and Research Ethics Board materials, including protocol amendments, annual renewals, and ongoing compliance;
- Organizing study files and performing other research administrative tasks, as required
As a key member of the team, the successful incumbent will be expected to work collaboratively on projects with cross functional teams. The incumbent will champion and lead initiatives that support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable policies, procedures and legislation. This position is located at 1051 Queen Street West, with travel between sites, as necessary.
**Qualifications**:
You will possess a Masters degree in a clinical research related field in the mental health domain (e.g. psychology, neuroscience, epidemiology, etc.) and at least two (2) year of clinical research operations experience.
**Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.**
**Please Note**: This full-time, contract (1 year) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.
**Salary Range**: $35.81 - $48.30 per hour
