**_Athabasca University's Office of the Registrar is currently recruiting for the position of Intermediate Enrolment Services Administrator._**

Athabasca University has transitioned to a near-virtual work environment. This role has been assessed to be Virtual with Place-Based Functions.While this role can be primarily performed in a virtual environment, there are some functions that will require the incumbent to come into AU's place-based location in Athabasca. The frequency?of times requiring the incumbent?to be in AU's place-based location will be determined by their supervisor in collaboration with the incumbent.

**_ This position has a mandatory on-site requirement in Athabasca, Alberta._**

Consistent with the policies of the University and the objectives and priorities of the Office of the Registrar, the incumbent will:

- Provide efficient and effective service to AU learners (including Collaborative related), AU staff and external partners while ensuring the integrity of the processes related to Enrolment Services.
- Resolve client inquiries that are within policies and procedures related to Enrolment Services, and serve as a resource person in regards to Enrolment Services related services and policies for the Office of the Registrar and the University community.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12education supplemented with 3 years of increasingly responsible clerical experience in an educational environment, preferably in a Registrar's Office.
- Staff that has laddered upwards through the Junior Enrolment Services Assistant position may also be considered for the Intermediate Enrolment Services Assistant position.
- Extensive knowledge of the AU calendar, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Thorough investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of data entry and retrieval operations in a computerized information system.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and set own priorities.
- Ability to differentiate between information, advising and counselling. (Must be able to assess client's situation and own ability to deal with it.)
- An incumbent in this position may complete a laddering and training plan to move into a Senior Enrolment Services position.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
