**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Maintain the NGPS’ Health Safety & Environment program
- Advise school administrators and division office team on best practices and legislation
- Recommend and assist with policy changes
- Manage Workers Compensation Board claims
- Administer the division’s safety training program
- Conduct health and safety audits of division worksites and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and facilitate Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee meetings
- Incident investigations focused on root cause analysis
- Manage third party contractor compliance
- Conduct inspections of all custodial work
- Perform other duties as required

**Requirements for the Position**
- Post secondary training in health & safety or a related field
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- 3 years experience
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification will be a bonus

- Annual salary range is $54,292.92 to $67,888.56 depending on qualifications and experience.
