**About the Job**
**We are currently looking for a Set Up Technician to join our team.**
Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting.
**Qualifications**:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability.
- Physical coordination.
- Experience with hand held measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings.
- Good math and computer skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Forklift license/experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes.
- Previous experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, change overs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer systems.
- Install and maintain hardware and software.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
**Job Types**:Full-time, Permanent.
**Salary**: $21.00-$29.00 per hour.
**Schedule**:
- 8 hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
**Ability to commute/relocate**:
- Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred).
**Experience**:
- Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred).
**Work Location**: In person.
