**ob description** **We are currently looking for a Set Up Technician to join our team.** Set up and operation of various machines/equipment (extrusion lines, slitting operations, ovens, mixers, grinders, shredders), quality control, basic housekeeping, and troubleshooting. **Qualifications** - Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning ability - Physical coordination - Experience with hand held measuring equipment /blueprint & drawings - Good math and computer skills - High attention to detail - Forklift license/experience, - Strong communication skills - Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes. - Previous experience in a continuous production process (not assembly line) setting up, troubleshooting, tear downs, change overs **Rate of Pay** Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational We are looking for a **Set-Up Technician **to join our team and provide technical support to our customers. **Responsibilities**: - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems. - Troubleshoot and repair computer systems. - Install and maintain hardware and software. - Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. - Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper operation. - Provide technical support to customers. - Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $21.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) Shift availability: - Night Shift (preferred) - Day Shift (preferred) - Overnight Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person **Salary**: $21.00 per hour Schedule: - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Orangeville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Machine Operator: 1 year (preferred) **Language**: - English (preferred) Shift availability: - Night Shift (preferred) Work Location: In person
