The Woodland’s Team at our Blue Ridge, Alberta division has an opportunity for a:
**PLANNING SUPERVISOR**:
As the Planning Supervisor you will be primarily responsible for FMA and quota planning activities, land use activities, Environmental Certification as well as a variety of other duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Implementation of commitments made as part of our Forest Management Plan
- Development of General Development Plan
- Assist in Operational Plan development
- Supervision of contractors
- Timber reconnaissance, block, and road layout
- Communication with Government of Alberta and various stakeholder groups
- Management of third-party Land Use requests
- Management of Division Environmental Certification program
- Management of GIS records and general Divisional data

**Required Qualifications**:

- Possess a Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Professional Technologist (RPFT) designation with the AAFMP, or be eligible for registration
- Strong commitment to safety
- Be a dynamic, career-minded individual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with proven organizational skills

**Considered an Asset**:

- Previous leadership experience
