Inside Sales Representive

**THE POSITION**: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for providing superior customer service, product selection and quotation preparation, support to other sales teams across the country, and will be open to cross-discipline training within an organization. **Responsibilities**: **Customer Service**: - Efficient and accurate entry of customer orders, quotes and purchase orders to vendors - Working with the purchasing department to expedite customer orders when required - Keeping customers informed of order/inquiry status and lead times to manage expectations - Displaying a positive attitude in all interactions - Demonstrating awareness of company, branch, and territory targets and strategies - Identifying and relaying customer opportunities, issues and concerns - Building customer relationships and corporate reputation - Executing quotation follow-up; including maintaining and updating sales quote and relative customer information **Product Selection and Quotation Preparation**: - Identifying customer needs (delivery times, product, price, etc.) - Focusing on details - valid price, product number, description - Coordinating with suppliers as needed - Providing technical information - Developing advanced knowledge of our order entry and other related software **Requirements**: **Essential**: - High School Diploma - A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience (industrial sales or customer service) - Advanced computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.) - Must exude an enthusiasm, passion, confidence, and an optimistic attitude - Must be driven and determined to win orders - Must be a collaborative and a supportive team player - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Fluent in English at a technical level - Excellent attention to detail - Be able to "think on your feet", problem solve, and demonstrate creativity - Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills - Must take ownership of own actions and demonstrate initiative - A demonstrated alignment with RPS values; customers first, ownership/accountability, respect, performance excellence, integrity and innovation, continued growth - Valid driver's license & clean driving record. - Ability to pass pre-employment screening and drug test. **Desirable**: - Fluent in both English & French at a technical level - Working knowledge of high-pressure industrial cleaning or oil & gas technical/mechanical processes - Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software systems - Above average computer knowledge/experience (Word, Excel) - Must be a good communicator and be able to work well in a team environment. - Able to interpret written and verbal instructions. - Have a passion for accurate, high-quality workmanship and be a fast learner. - Demonstrate an ability to take initiative and contribute to process improvement. - Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs (from floor to shoulder level) to assist with Shipping & Receiving as required. - Comply with all company policies and procedures. **Skills**: Preferred - Microsoft Office **Behaviors**: Preferred - Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest - Team Player: Works well as a member of a group - Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well **Motivations**: Preferred - Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help - Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks
