As a core member of our Business Process Optimization team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

The Intelligent Automation (IA) is multi-skilled team charged with identifying, building, and deploying operational solutions by leveraging a suite of emerging technologies, such as Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Robotics Process Automation, Business Process Management, Reconciliation Tools, Cloud Services, and Business Intelligence Tools.

**Your Role**:
The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Intelligent Automation (IA) team and will work directly with Senior VP on requirement gathering, documentation, establishing governance, and best practices for a new operational data lake. The incumbent will also help with data mapping, metadata management, and keeping data catalogues up to date.
- You will elicits, captures, analyzes, refines, articulates and documents business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and data documentation
- Work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPI, KRI, design front end visualizations if needed
- Managing metadata, data catalogue and mapping tables for Citco’s Data Lake
- Work with developers to document technical solution diagrams
- Develop a strong understanding of evolving business requirements and corporate goals to provide data-backed insights/solutions that will guide strategy and growth
- Present information through reports and visualization for a variety of stakeholders
- Ensure clear and accurate communication of current status, dependencies and estimated delivery timelines
- Develop and update user/technical documentation
- Participates in Scrum stand-up meetings, backlog grooming sessions, review and retrospective meetings.

**About You**:

- You have a undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present information/insight based on data to a varied audience including both business and technical stakeholders
- Excellent listening and analytical skills
- Able to work with multiple stakeholders to produce clearly articulated requirements for data projects
- Familiar with Data Warehouses and Data lakes
- Programming knowledge in building and maintaining ETL using SQL/Python, etc.
- An asset:

- Financial product knowledge and knowledge of Hedge Fund Administration
- Understanding of agile project management
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Familiar with schema design and dimensional data modeling
- Familiar with data analysis and reporting, specifically creating interactive dashboards to provide actionable insight on specific business issues
- Familiar with using Qlik/PowerBI/Quicksight/Tableau
