**Your future at Skyservice**:
As the Flight Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Flight Centre, overseeing both personnel and fleet management. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including establishing and refining operational standards, setting strategic goals for team development, and leading the execution of various projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational excellence.
Your role will also involve coordinating activities across functional groups to deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience and addressing any safety issues or operational irregularities in collaboration with relevant internal and external departments.
To excel in this position, you will need strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with a keen ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Provide comprehensive management and oversight for the Flight Centre, including fleet and personnel.
Advance expertise in aviation regulations and management, with the capability to ensure team adherence for operational safety, efficiency and continuity.
Develop and refine standards, roles, SOPs, and protocols to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence for the GOC.
Collaborate with the Director to establish short
- and long-term goals for the continual advancement of the Flight Centre.
Lead the execution of divisional projects, coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Drive KPI enhancements and conduct operational business reviews to foster operational excellence.
Support the annual financial and budget review process as necessary.
Complete reports in relation to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly operations.
Implement emergency response procedures in the event of aircraft accidents.
Effectively manage direct reports, oversee performance management, succession planning, headcount management, and other HR initiatives.
Coach and mentor direct reports to cultivate a highly engaged, high-performing team.
Own the training program ensuring Performance Management through Training and KPI's.
Coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.
Identify, report, and address safety issues, discrepancies, operational irregularities, and potential impacts on operations in collaboration with the Director.
Collaborate with relevant internal and external departments to ensure the delivery of exceptional service.
Undertake additional projects to drive continuous improvement and evolution within Flight Centre.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:
Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field is a must.
Minimum 5 years of experience in flight management, dispatch, or coordination roles.
Minimum 5 years in a client-facing role.
Minimum 5 years in a managerial position.
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to foster a positive team culture aligned with organizational values.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
Flexibility to provide coverage and support outside of regular business hours as required.
