**Core Job Functions**:

- Process customer orders, plan and tender to partner carriers.
- Enter all load opportunities into TMW. Update TMW system with current and changing shipment information.
- Coordinate load pickups and deliveries with carriers and customers.
- Provide detailed instructions to carriers to ensure on-time delivery, estimating times of arrival and delivery.
- Handle all incoming phone calls.
- Send out detailed rate requests to carriers in a timely manner and update pricing spreadsheets.
- Provide load exception investigation and reporting.
- Weigh alternative financial decisions before taking action.
- Handle rate negotiations with carriers and shippers on a spot rate basis.
- Call and add on additional partner carriers.
- Insure all carrier critical information is current (Insurance, DOT, Operating Authority & CSA scores)
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- 2-3 years in logistics or trucking
- Prior experience using TMW Suite considered an asset
- Prior experience using Load Boards
- Post
- secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication skills - Verbal and written
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Highly functioning within the Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to learn new operating systems efficiently
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
