_Overview:_
Pick-your-own and pre-picked strawberry/vegetable/flowers farm and farm market requiring farm market garden worker help from **beginning of September to October 31st to help for our fall season. Working on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays including Thanksgiving Monday.**
- Main duties:_
1. Welcoming customers and directing customers to the fields to pick vegetables, pumpkins and flowers.
2. Directing customer movement and picking activities within and near the fields
3. Assisting with parking lot direction
4. Cashier duties
5. Assisting with vegetables and pumpkin harvesting
7. Arranging and restocking produce displays
8. Other related tasks as required.

Communication — clear, confident and friendly face-to-face rapport with the public
Initiative — seeing what needs to be done and doing it
Problem-solving mindset — always thinking about improving our services to customers
Cooperation — working with all co-workers to achieve the best overall results
- Notable requirements:_
This role requires the employee to work outdoors for extended periods standing, walking and fulfilling tasks in uneven physical terrain.
This role requires the employee to be available to work on weekends from late June through to the end of July.
- Work Experience:_
No experience necessary
Previous customer service experience an asset
Previous work with point-of-sale equipment an asset

This role offers skills development in communications, customer service and hands-on farm market labour, all in a fast-paced, collegial environment. It is an excellent opportunity for senior high school, college and university students who enjoy working outdoors.
