**Overview**

**Duties**
- Serve drinks and food at the bar and assist in table service, including setting up seating, running food, clearing tables, and cleaning.
- Ensure a clean work environment and wash dishes, glassware, sweep, mop, and clean the restaurant, bar, servery, and bathrooms as necessary.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues that arise.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions and inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with manager to ensure stock is replenished and maintained.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.
- Communicate regularly with management and provide feedback regarding possible issues, potential improvements and efficiencies, and team successes.

**Requirements**:

- 1 year serving experience or equivalent experience is required.
- Strong communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette for customer interactions.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
- Valid Alberta ProServe certification.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Capacity to safely lift and easily maneuver potentially heavy trays of food and drinks.
- Must be over 18 as alcohol service and open scheduling availability is a requirement.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
