**Machine Support Technician - Weekends**
- Working with Production Operators to: Ensure the machine is utilized to full potential and operated at optimal levels, troubleshooting machine output issues (productivity and quality), ensuring output metrics and up time expectations are met, coordinating PM schedules with Maintenance.
- Working with Maintenance to: Troubleshoot machine problems, minimize downtime, ensure proper MRO Materials are stocked in house. Coordinate PM schedules with production.
- Working with Programming to: cross train in daily functions, optimize machine output (speed and quality), nesting and material usage.
- Working with Design Engineering to: modify designs to support the capability of the machine.
- Documenting best practices and standards.
- Other assigned duties as required.
- The ability to interpret, machine schematics, hydraulic systems., pneumatic systems, electrical systems, engineering drawings.
- The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Salvagnini or Trumpf equipment.
- Successfully completed Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technician Program, or Mechanical Engineering.
- The ability to use CAD/CAM software.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience/education.
