**Modern Clean Machine shop in Inkster Industrial Park Winnipeg MB.**

**We have created a new position in our company and are looking for the right person to fill and develop the job.**

We need an Estimator and job coordinator who can work with management to increase and streamline our existing business as well as expand our work and customer base.
- Preparing customer quotations
- Obtaining cost estimates from suppliers
- Prepare materials, labor and equipment cost estimations necessary to successfully carry out a project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications.
- Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general tender work
- Support other department personnel by preparing drawings and estimates for other disciplines.
- Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials

**Skills Required**:

- Must have 3 years of machine shop experience.
- Experience in estimating.
- Completion of College/Technical Training or equivalent.
- Must have a proven background in machine shop operations and be capable of preparing complete costing estimates.
- Capable of reading and understanding engineered drawings and documents.
- Knowledge of fabrication and welding.
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Solid computer skills including experience in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Project. Outlook and able to use Auto cad drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of steel and aluminium is critical to the position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
