Holmes Education Group is seeking a dynamic Hospitality Instructor to teach on our Diploma in Hospitality (Co-Op) in Toronto.

This exciting and innovative program consists of 8 stand-alone three-week modules:

- Careers in Hospitality Operations
- Food and Beverage Studies
- Management in Hospitality Operations
- Front Office Operations
- Customer Service Strategies
- Accounting for Hospitality Operations
- Human Resource Essentials
- Marketing for Hospitality

Instructors would be responsible for delivering already-created content, supplementing the curriculum with real life industry experiences. A strong base of lesson plans, projects, quizzes and end of unit tests have been created, but will need to be modified and updated continuously. It will be the instructor's role to bring the curriculum to life.

Class schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Lunch and breaks are included during this time, however often students prefer to teach through the lunch break and leave class at 2pm. The Instructor is expected to cater to small changes in schedule to suit the preferences of the students.

Minimum experience/education qualification requirements are as follows:

- Forty-eight (48) months of work or teaching experience in the Hospitality sector, acquired within the preceding 10 years, or a combination of work and teaching experience.

OR
- Twenty-four (24) months of work or teaching experience in the vocation, acquired within the preceding 10 years or a combination of the two, and holds a bachelor degree from a Canadian university or an equivalent degree.

OR
- Be a graduate of a College of Applied Arts and Technology or equivalent.

OR
- Be a graduate of a registered Private Career College.

OR
- Was employed as an instructor at a private career college prior to the proclamation of the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 on Sept. 18, 2016 and have met the qualifications prescribed under Regulation 939 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990.

The role is based in our Toronto office. Home/remote working is not available with this position.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
