By 2015, Pures College and Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology established a partnership to deliver high quality programs to international students in our Toronto locations. Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public funded college established on 1967. Pures College and Northern College established a strategic partnership in order to expand the international market by representing Ontario’s private and public post-secondary education brands. **Overview**:
The Instructor provides an enriching learning environment for students by using holistic and career-oriented teaching methods. By maintaining an organized and structured classroom environment, the Instructor helps ensure that students are progressing effectively. The administration of assignments, tests, projects and exams will help students stay engaged and provide the Instructor with an accurate gauge of student success. The Instructor works under the guidance and supervision of the Department of Academic Affairs at the College.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
- For Android: Java, Android SDK
- Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimization, caching, security, and native hardware components (Camera, GPS, etc.)
- Experience with JSON, SOAP, Rest, XML and XHTML
- Experience with web front-end development frameworks such as HTML5 and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of iOS SDK and XCode, iOS UX guidelines/best practice

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture and/or laboratory format based on the approved curricula
- Implement and manage company policies and procedures such as attendance, grade reports, midterm reports, student advising forms, and all other assigned educational materials on a timely basis
- Timely completion and submission of all grade books and marking of all tests, examinations and assignments
- Participate in faculty/staff meetings, committee meetings, professional development workshops, graduation ceremonies, and other school functions as requested
