**Job Summary**:
Under the direction of the Director of Retirement Services, the Resident Care Coordinator will oversee all aspects of the resident experience for the permanent and respite beds at Kensington Village. Main duties include but are not limited to:

- maximizing resident occupancy levels
- ensuring a consistently high level of care is given to all residents
- completing admission/discharge paperwork
- completing assessments, assisting with maintaining care plans, overseeing clinical programs within the retirement home
- managing admission contracts, PCC entries, rent increases
- Acting as a liaison between residents families and health care staff
- collaborating with our partners to ensure optimal resident care and experience
- ensuring all IPAC and health and safety standards are met
- participating in quality improvement, risk management and education initiatives
- scheduling and payroll functions as needed

The Registered Practical Nurse provides communication and direction to HCA/PSW on care requirements for individual residents and provides assistance in the supervision in the delivery of care.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Formal**
- Diploma from Recognized Registered Practical Nurse Program
- Current certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario and is in good standing
- Certificate in CPR
- Vulnerable Sector Check from the last 6 months

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 1 year experience in Long Term Care or a Retirement Home preferred

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
