**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated **Mandarin as a Second Language Instructor** with extensive experience teaching younger students. This unique role integrates Mandarin language instruction with creative activities, helping students develop language skills while exploring artistic expression and cultural traditions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and deliver Mandarin lessons rooted in linguistic principles, tailored to younger children.
- Incorporate creative crafts, singing, and presentation into sessions to enhance language learning.
- Develop engaging and age-appropriate curriculum for afterschool and long-term programs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage session materials and ensure efficient use of resources.

**Qualifications**
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin.
- Extensive experience teaching Mandarin as a second language to younger children.
- Proficiency in a third language, especially Japanese, is preferred.
- Skills in arts and crafts, singing, and public speaking, with the ability to design engaging projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for education, creativity, and cultural exchange.
