Packaging Technician

_**Job Summary**:_
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in a full-scale production environment;
- Perform all production related activities;
- Responsible for general housekeeping of production area;
- Cleaning and maintenance of processing and packaging equipment;
- Optimize production and packaging related SOP’s;
- Troubleshoot and problem solve quality deviations or production constraints;
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong sense of work quality and safety;
- Effortlessly takes direction and follows through on tasks;
- Capable of working both independently and on a team;
- Good communication skills both written and verbal;
- Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Experience in food manufacturing and/or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be considered an asset;
- Previous production experience would be considered an asset;
- Keen eye for detail;
- Ability to meeting physical demands including reaching, bending, walking, standing and performing repetitive work;
- Flexibility to work shift work as required

**Salary**: From $17.47 per hour
