Color Ad Packaging is a Winnipeg based leading producer of quality commercial packaging products.

We are currently hiring a **Quality Control Technician**.

**Duties**:

- Performs routine production floor quality checks
- Audit Preparation - Works to maintain quality system requirements and complete objections related to audit requirements pertaining to the Quality Department.
- Documentation/filing - maintain physical and digital records according to defined parameters/specifications.
- Analytical analyses - performs analyses include Residual solvent (GC) and various tensile (i.e. pouch tear strength, bond strength testing) and other physical tests (parker print roughness, Sutherland Rub, curl etc...), as it all relates to customer and process requirements.
- Retained sample collection and filing
- Sample collection - collects samples provided at various stages of production in accordance with customer and/or testing requirements.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
- Quick learner, willing to take on new tasks / challenges
- Previous experience in raw material inspections
- Previous experience within the print industry or in a production environment is an asset
