**An overview of your future role at BBA**
- Provide technical support to the firm's clients
- Perform various types of testing on power equipment
- Verify circuit-breakers, disconnectors, power transformers and measurements
- Program and verify protection relay settings using simulations
- Perform pre-operational verifications and commissioning of new substations
- Carry out troubleshooting for varied electrical equipment (starters, motors, transformers, switches, cables, busways, controls, etc.)
- Perform thermographic inspections
- Draft reports for verifications, anomalies and follow-ups
- Ensure client satisfaction
- Comply with safety requirements and rules
- Draft and help prepare plans, specifications and various technical reports (studies, letters, memos, etc.)
- Monitor and manage projects
- Coach new arrivals on electrical testing, equipment maintenance, etc.

**Overview of certifications and job requirements**
- Diploma of college studies in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Electronics, Electrodynamics or any other equivalent studies
- From 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience
- Availability for field work and work at client sites over 100% of the time
- Experience in drafting calls for tender, proposals and technical specifications
- Experience programming and testing protective relays
- Solid knowledge of electrical testing on power equipment, like transformers, generators, etc.
- Very good knowledge of test equipment
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Bilingual essential (English/French - spoken and written)
- Available to work across Canada
- Asset: Journeyman electrician card
