About the Role
As a Multi-Unit Store Manager, you bring the Reigning Champ culture to life and are an exceptional brand ambassador. You lead a high-performance team that delivers a premium experience for our clients and establishes the stores as anchors of the brand. Responsible for all operations of two stores and teams, you possess an entrepreneurial spirit, running both businesses as if they were your own. This role will be responsible for our Kitsilano & Robson street stores in Vancouver, BC.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Lead all facets of the daily operations of two successful retail stores including, ensuring the implementation of policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Lead by example in delivering an exceptional client experience with a hands-on approach
- On the sales floor 4 days per week creating a positive and collaborative team environment and coaching in the moment
- Accountable for the quality of education on the floor around our products, services, culture and community
- Partner with Marketing to amplify local community engagement and expand brand awareness by helping organize events and activations
- Proactively recruit and hire a high performance team - will own the total hiring cycle from interviews, reference checks and offer letters to onboarding
- Lead people development through training, coaching, consistent performance check ins, reviews, and quarterly staff meetings
- Lead profitable stores by enrolling your team, and strategizing to achieve sales goals while managing both stores P&L
- Own your store hours model and develop schedules to optimize the client experience and accommodate traffic trends
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Alongside strong visual standards, and proactively seeking ways to improve sell-through
- Develop a clientele program to attract new clients, and grow their lifetime value
- Collaborate with the Client Specialist team to create a seamless client journey across our digital and physical channels
- Be our eyes and ears on the ground sharing trends, insights and local knowledge and help elevate the brand
- Be a great neighbour and partner to brands and businesses on both of our streets
About you:
- You have your finger on the pulse of the men’s contemporary and athletic spaces, sports and culture
- 3-4 years retail/leadership experience
- Strong focus on providing exceptional service and maintaining high service standards
- Positive, collaborative and motivated team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Acts with integrity and professionalism
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Coachable and active with self-development
- Passionate about the culture of Reigning Champ - the stores, the products and our community
