**Role and Responsibilities**
- Assisting Line Cooks, Chefs, and Head Chef with any preparation or duty required.
- Displaying a friendly attitude at all times, and creating a safe work environment.
- Sanitizing kitchen area, work benches, walk-in coolers /freezers, bathrooms, and work stations as needed.
- Preparing all vegetables, meats, and other ingredients needed for production.
- Preparing all cold and hot drinks in bulk for front house.
- Cleaning and washing all dishes both manually and via dishwasher.
- Cleaning floors, and workstations at the end of shift.
- Preparing all meals on flat grill, for front of house.

**Basic Qualification Requirements**
- Job may require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs. and climbing a ladder
- Job may require standing / walking for long periods of time.
- Must be available a minimum of three (3) days during the week, and keep Saturday and Sunday open for availability. Able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including but not limited to overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends and on-call shifts.
- Must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in Canada.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

**Education Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent

**Preferred Skills**
- Previous experience in kitchen and retail environment.
- Previous experience in restaurant industry / environment.
- Ability to speak fluently in another language in addition to English
- Ability to speak Tamil is an asset but not required

**Additional Notes**
- Minimal lifting and bending may be required when cleaning dishware, sanitizing floors, preparing raw materials etc. full time positions usually yield 30-40 hour work weeks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour
