**Job description**

**Part Time Sales Associate**:
The sales associate provides exceptional customer service, generates sales and participates in day-to-day operational duties. The sales associate ensures all store activities such as purchasing operations run smoothly and efficiently. They are a reliable team player, are willing to learn more in depth about local business, and enjoy engaging with customers.

**GENERAL DUTIES**:

- engaging with customers
- helping customers find products
- processing transactions
- general tidying
- restocking shelves

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma
- Customer service, retail and/or cashier experience is preferred
- Enjoy working in groups but can also work independently
- Works well under pressure
- Energetic and motivated
- Responsible and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in local business/makers/artists an asset
- Basic understanding of computer skills, such as Microsoft Word

**Job Type**: Part-time/Seasonal with possibility of extending position

Must be available weekends and evenings.

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: From $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Common surfaces are sanitized frequently.

**Experience**:
