Construction Supervisor

**PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION**

Responsible for organizing work involved with all construction activities on site to ensure a safe, integrated, coordinated, and controlled approach. The construction coordinator sets parameters in relation to time, cost, and quality and project outcomes as it relates to construction deliverables.

**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develops and implements an appropriate organizational structure for execution of daily activities regarding construction.
- Provides leadership to both contractors and members of the construction team in order to ensure accountabilities are met on a daily basis.
- Ensures availability of necessary materials, plans and tools for work.
- Trains and instructs construction personnel in conformity to safe and efficient work practices.
- Maintains necessary work unit production and personnel records associated with shift operations.
- Ensures all work is in compliance with stated procedures.
- Ensure that all direct reports in the workplace take responsibility for aspects of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment over which they have control including adherence to all OHS&E requirements applicable to DMC Mining Services

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- 5 years’ experience in a construction supervisory role.
- Must have proven knowledge and experience in the construction and mining industry.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
