Windsor, Canada Best Western Plus Waterfront Hotel Full time

***:To clean and supply all guest public areas and assist Room and Laundry Attendants in moving supplies, in accordance with standards set forth by the Hotel, ensuring that all guest requests receive prompt attention and friendly service.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Thorough and complete cleaning requirements on all guest floors, in public washrooms, elevators, stairwells and interior/exterior public areas, fitness room/showers as set by efficiency standards of the Hotel.
- Ensuring security standards are practiced, to protect guest’s privacy belongings, as well as employees.
- Meet and exceed guest and co-worker expectations by providing ‘yes I can’ service and teamwork.
- Ensure all guests receive prompt attention, providing value added service by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to exceed guest expectations.
- Assist with inventories and help prevent waste and misuse of guest and cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Remove all garbage, soiled linen or dirty food trays from corridors in a prompt manner.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Requires a considerable amount of bending and lifting to clean and dust, kneel to scrub and wipe floors, stretching to wipe pictures and closets.
- Push/pull supply carts, carpet cleaner throughout shift, and push/pull furniture.
- Requires heavy lifting of furniture, piles of supplies, boxes and equipment.
- Requires extended period of standing/walking when sweeping.
- Bending/stretches when using the vacuum/carpet cleaner.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 12 Education.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products & safety measures (WHMIS).

Must be available in the afternoon & evenings (3:30pm until 12:00am).
