Calgary, Canada Delta Facilities Maintenance Full time

**POSITION PURPOSE**

Manage and coordinate personnel and supervision for all Janitorial and Carpet cleaning. Represent DFM in all aspect of Related Business and Public Relations.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Full responsibility of the Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning department:

- a. Budget,
- b. Clients
- c. Crew
- d. Training
- e. Equipment
- Planning supervisor schedule and priorities; Monitor & evaluate supervisors.
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs and specifications.
- Coordinate and organize work orders per job site.
- Ensure all DFM protocols, safety and health regulations, policies and guidelines are followed.
- Organize after hour on call rotation between the supervisors and Ops manager.
- Support sales division with analysis of proposed scope and allotted cleaning time prior to submitting quotes.
- Ensuring clients needs are met on a continuous 24/7 operation, as required by the industry.
- Be able to develop a marketing strategy to acquire new business.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ or more years of experience in the Janitorial/Cleaning industry with exposure and experience in an Operations Environment.
- Knowledge of stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning is vital for us.
- Ability to recruit, train and develop staff and allocate resources according to scheduling requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English language (being multi-lingual is certainly a benefit).
- Technical skills requirements: Ability to use Microsoft software, familiarity with janitorial chemicals, equipment, and cleaning techniques.
- Capable to travel and conduct regular site visits is mandatory therefore a driver’s license in good standing, along with a clean driver abstract is required.
- Exceptional customer service skills and dedication to delivering outstanding customer experience.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to both work with others and assume a leadership role.
- Ability to manage teams of people.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good presentation skills.
