**Position**: Cleaning Supervisor / Part-time

**Schedule**: 5:00 - 9:30 PM / 5 Days a week

Monday through Friday with a flexibility to work on weekends

**Wage & Benefits**:

- $23.00 per hour, to be reviewed after 6 months to 1 year
- Company car provided during shift hours
- Company cell phone

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and schedules to cleaning staff, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
- Ensure adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment required on-site.
- Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide ongoing training and refresher courses to existing staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
- Assist cleaning staff with tasks during peak times or when short-staffed, demonstrating a hands-on approach.
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests or emergencies.
- Establish work schedules.
- Develop and implement efficient cleaning procedures and checklists.
- Collaborate with the area manager to optimize cleaning operations and resolve challenges.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure staff use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Recommend or coordinate additional cleaning services in facilities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven Janitorial experience in a supervisory capacity for minimum 2+ years
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must have WHMIS Safety knowledge
- Travel is required to multiple facility sites.

- Knowledge of janitorial equipment (scrubbers, high-speed buffers, etc.).
