Inside Sales/Tool Expert

**Duties**:

- Greet and engage with customers to assist with their needs, recommend tools and parts, answer customer questions, and close the customer sale
- Assist customers with their sales purchases
- Utilize point-of-sale system and computer terminals to check inventory, look-up orders and process transactions including web orders
- As an associate you may be assigned to support a variety of departments
- Create engaging social media posts and content ie; videos for reels
- Maintain store signage and ensure it is up to date with our latest branding
- Be present at and assist in events/tool demonstrations both in store and out of store

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and the ability to recommend appropriate tools and accessories
- Comfortable performing demonstrations of a variety of tools
- Ability to interact with the public in a tactful, courteous manner
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Organized and able to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn and continually improve social media engagement
- Excellent time management skills

Working Conditions
- Comfortable lifting products as required (25 - 50lbs); bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods of time
- CSA approved safety shoes (green triangle)
- Utilize computer terminals, and/or phone to check inventory and provide order assistance.

Pay: $16.75-$26.90 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
