A well-established Indian family business group wants for its Indian Kitchen an Operations Head. The Franchise is actively engaged in making exotic Indian snack and food that are ready to go or for table serve in food courts.

We are in a mode of giant growth with plans to build and increase the footprint of the Indian food chain Franchise in the GTA.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Identify locations and vet the potential franchises to build retail outlets for the Indian Kitchen brand for greater presence in GTA
- Lead the franchise build out role in GTA. Manage the cost of entry of each franchise and execute the agreement terms and conditions with the potential franchisees.
- Meet companies franchise build out targets in each quarter. Building out the franchise retail outlets is the key success factor of the role.
- Monitor the franchise and company store as per the franchise brand guidelines.
- Identify potential franchise owners in the restaurant and food services space to be part of the brand. Build the franchise in locations where there will be business growth for the brand and profit for the franchise owners.
- Lead the look and feel of the store and monitor the brand, the menu line, the quality and authenticity of food prep and services.
- Train franchise owners and team to manage the cooking to serving steps and ensure each store adheres to the company’s business model and brand SOP’s.
- Execution of the mandated training hours and periodic refreshers for the franchise owners and team.
- Build the business for the brand and run the operations as per the corporation’s business model and ethics.
- Manage the financial accountability with each franchise on the agreed payment terms. and monitor the revenue maps.
- Ensure each store is meeting their weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Help the franchise to build their business with marketing and sales support through interventions like presentations, menu design, promos, and social media publicity.
- Lead the marketing and sales leadership support of the retail food outlets owned by the company and the franchise.
- Periodic visits to the franchise and liaison with the franchise owner and team and to ensure the agreed terms and conditions and brand standards are executed.
- Full responsibility of the administration of these outlets as per the brand guidelines to meet the sales and revenue targets.
- Ensure the food handling guidelines and other safety and legal compliances are adhered and followed in all franchise stores.
- Monitor daily sales and product performance, proposing proactive and corrective measures, such as targeted promotions, staff training.
- Create and execute tools that will aid in the monitoring of operations in the various territories via weekly reports, conference calls and qualitative analysis
- Work closely with the CEO and franchisees and internal partners for the growth of franchise footprint and outlets.

**REMUNERATION**:

- **This is a leadership business head role with a fixed base of$60,000 annually plus variable pay as commissions.**_
- **The commissions and kicker bonus is best in class in the industry as per the company’s scheme.**_
- The Operations head role provides the opportunity for a smart pushy business or salesperson to earn over the fixed salary liberal commissions._

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATION**
- Aggressive retail chain building out and ability to identify partners for the franchise business is a must.
- Food Services hands on operations leadership of 5 years
- Consumer communication and ability to develop marketing plans
- Have run independent or been part of a food or retail business
- Diploma or MBA degree in Operations management will be an advantage
- Ethnic orientation to Indian Food and services will be an asset
- Proven operations and sales leadership will be an added advantage
- Negotiations skills and retail food business knowledge is a requirement
- A “**go getter**” personality and huger to hunt and close retail units as franchise is a must for this success of this position

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
