The Commercial P&C Associate is responsible for supporting the profitable growth of the Commercial P&C portfolio. Associates focus on developing their underwriting technical knowledge and supporting P&C Underwriters.

**What will you do?**
- Review and process risks presented to Gore Mutual (Renewal, Endorsements, Cancellations)
- Review and process low complexity renewals, using straight forward decision-making skills
- Adhere to service level agreements on Endorsements and Cancellations
- Support Underwriters in servicing Renewals
- Work under the guidance of an Underwriter or a Manager, while being responsible for time management and desk management
- Answering inbound calls from brokers

**What will you need to succeed?**
- At least 1 year of commercial lines exposure
- Secondary school education is required
- Community college or Under grad degree is preferred
- Enrollment in or completion of the CIP (FCIP) designation
- Proficient underwriting skills, sound judgement, decision making, negotiation and analytical ability
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders#LI-Hybrid
