Iron Worker

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques including MIG and TIG welding.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform rigging tasks to safely lift and position heavy materials using cranes.
- Conduct machining operations as needed to ensure precise dimensions for metal components.
- Utilize calipers and basic math skills to measure and cut materials accurately.
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Install ductwork and other metal components in various construction environments.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in ironworking or a related field within manufacturing or construction environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Familiarity with welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding, is essential.
- Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
- Knowledge of assembly processes for metal structures is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.

Pay: $26.22-$47.77 per hour
