Iron Worker

**Job Title: Iron Worker - IMP Panels Specialist**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) for walls, roofs, and facades
- Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and installation manuals
- Align, level, and secure panels using appropriate fastening systems
- Perform steel erection, bolting, and rigging as required
- Operate lifts, cranes, and other equipment safely (where certified)
- Ensure proper sealing, flashing, and weatherproofing of IMP systems
- Inspect materials and completed work for quality and compliance
- Follow all site safety regulations, including fall protection procedures
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on-site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Iron Worker with IMP panel installation experience
- Strong knowledge of steel structures, panel systems, and fastening methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working at heights and in outdoor environments
- Familiarity with safety standards, including fall protection and rigging
- Physically fit and capable of handling demanding site work

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Trade certification or completed apprenticeship as an Iron Worker or experiences
- Certifications such as Working at Heights, Rigging, or Crane Signaling
- Experience in commercial or industrial construction projects

**Working Conditions**
- Work performed on active construction sites
- Requires lifting, climbing, and working at heights
- May involve exposure to varying weather conditions

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
