**What we need**

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the **Housekeeping Supervisor **performs various tasks related to the general maintenance of buildings and facilities, using work safe methods. The incumbent will supervise the work of the team members periodically during the shift while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

**What you’ll do**
- Supervise the work of team members by making frequent rounds during the shift and provide feedback or make corrections, if necessary;
- Inspect the premises and facilities to ensure compliance with the established cleanliness and health and safety norms and standards;
- Maintain the Spa facilities by performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, polishing, dusting, washing, disinfecting, etc.;
- Ensure proper equipment and maintenance products are available, as needed;
- Fill in for housekeepers, as required;
- Participate in the recruitment and training of employees and the development of work schedules;
- Perform other related duties.

**Profile needed**

**What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position**
- High School Diploma;
- Knowledge of housekeeping techniques;
- Minimum three (3) years in housekeeping in the hotel industry, or relevant experience;
- Minimum one (1) year experience in housekeeping supervision;
- Ability to solve problems quickly and to respond to guest requests and strong teamwork ethic;
- Ability to integrate safety into work procedures;
- Responsible, autonomous and resourceful;
- WHMIS certification, an asset;
- Health and Hygiene training, an asset;
- Good physical condition; ability to work outdoors during all months of the year (weather appropriate uniform provided), ability to reach bend and frequently lift up to 50 lbs (23kg).

**When**

You will work on a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays). We are currently looking for an evening supervisor.
