Product Category Specialist

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product & Brand Identity**: Ensure consistent and accurate brand messaging and product listing throughout the market. Manage all aspects of product components such as product images, videos, attribution documents, sizing chart, retail packaging, instruction manuals etc. Perform audits on client’s websites to ensure accuracy. Provide clients with product attributes, copy and imagery.
- **Product Development**: Assist in product development from idea generation, market research, prototyping and developing and implementing product launches.
- **Retail Marketing**:Work with top retailers such as Bass Pro, Costco, Walmart, Dick Sporting Goods etc.) on product alignment strategies, promotional plans, marketing exposure opportunities to gain product exposure and growth through their retail and eCommerce channels.
- **Digital** **Marketing Strategies**: Plan and assist with implementing digital marketing campaigns. Optimize Napier’s brand exposure through the client’s digital marketing initiatives such as eblasts, social media exposure, PPC advertisements etc.
- **Campaigns**:Develop cross-promotional campaigns with associated companies
- **Reporting**: Create analytical reports such as product trending, channel penetration, market trends, competitor analysis etc.
- **New Markets**:Identify new market opportunities and develop and implement penetration
- **Quality Assurance & Control**: Review product inspection reports for accuracy. Obtain production samples and review for accuracy. For non-complying items, determine root causes and corrective actions, work with management to resolve issues.
**EXPERIENCE & TALENTS**
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Be able to prioritize, multitask and problem solve in a deadline driven environment
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or sales
- Must be detail oriented and posses strong analytical and organizational skills
- University Degree/College Diploma in Business, marketing, sales or related field
