Water Treatment Field Service Technician

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
1) Working independently in the field, travelling with a company vehicle to service various client locations throughout the day. Conducting water system tests and determining adjustments and optimization to chemical treatment programs and controller units. (Daily travel required to client sites in the Hamilton to Windsor Corridor)

2) Gather technical data from clients; make system recommendations and adequately document and issue visit report through ControlChem Connect program.

3) Network and create strong client relationships to ensure 100% retention of clients.

4) Participate in internal and customer meetings as required.

**Desired Skills**:
1) Technical College Diploma or technical trade

2) Beneficial (but not required) previous water treatment, industrial or HVAC experience

3) Self-driven, motivated and conduct themselves with diplomacy with our clients.

4) Ability to grow and adapt to role - potential to transition into sales

5) Technical aptitude plus basic computer skills.

7) Quality written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, willingness to learn and train, dependable and consistent.

8) A flexible and adaptive approach to working and time management.

**Requirements**:
1) ControlChem to provide WHMIS, TDG and First Aid training.

2) Police background check may be required, working at school boards.

3) Require a clean driver's abstract.

**Compensation**: We offer competitive salaries dependent on experience ($45,000 - $50,000.00) performance bonuses, company vehicle, cellular, travel expenses, excellent benefits and RRSP contribution matching.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
