We are looking for the right fit for our teams in our **Multiage classrooms** in Maple Ridge Multiage classrooms can have a maximum group size of 8 children ages 12 months -5 years old.

**Requirements**:

- Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 12 months to 5 years
- Collaborate, develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social development
- Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour
- Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services
- Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child’s day
- Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently
- Follow licensing requirements and maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and well-being of children
- Flexible thinking, creative approaches and ability to think on your feet.

**Qualifications**:

- Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required (Infant and Toddler or SN training/certification is considered an asset)
- Knowledge of age appropriate childhood development and Early Childhood education practices and principles.
- Experience with various strategies and techniques for guiding children
- Excellent communication skills
- 1-3 years’ experience working with children ages 12 months to 5 years
- Valid First Aid Certification
- Clean Criminal Record Check
- References
