**SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Job Purpose**: To sell products by maintaining and expanding customer base.
**General Summary**: Working with the Sales Team to manage sales of the company’s products and services to ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning. Identifies and implements objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales earnings.
**Core Functions**:
- Collaborates with the Sales Director and President in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals and strategies for the company.
- Manages product lines to maximize sales revenues and meet sales objectives.
- Standard Quotations and follow-ups.
- Customer relations and contact management.
- After Sales follow-up to maintain continuity of the products at end user locations through tracking of data.
- Updating and maintaining marketing literature both digital and print.
**Job Duties**:
- Regular meetings with Sales Manager and President on Marketing strategies and literature.
- Recommends product development by identifying new product opportunities and/or products. Product improvements. Surveying customer needs and trends. Tracking competitors.
- Updating and designing sales literature and forums.
- Contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic planning and reviews, preparing, and completing action plans, implementing new material and products, quality, and customer-service standards. Resolving customer complaints, completing audits, identifying trends, determining sales system improvements, implementing changes.
- Implementing trade promotions by publishing, tracking and evaluating trade spending.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, updating company sales literature.

**Job Requirements**:
- Technical training will be provided through literature review and hands-on training.
- Must have the ability to travel to end-user sites when applicable.
- Knowledge of mining, castings and procurement in the typical End User operations recommended.
- Ability to work in a communal and collaborative setting.
Legally eligible to work in Canada
**Qualifications**:
- Experience or training in the mining, manufacturing or heavy industry sector recommended.
- A degree or diploma in marketing or business is preferred.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Experience in developing, designing, and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Enthusiasm and Motivation.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of design software such as InDesign.
- A valid driver’s license.
- French and/or Spanish language an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
