**Description**:
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will work collaboratively with a team to build models capable of analyzing actuarial and accounting data. Analyses will include decrement (mortality and lapses) data, projection of cashflows, examination of profitability, studying expenses and development of unit expense assumptions for pricing of life insurance products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build, deploy, maintain, and improve sophisticated models capable of:
- On-demand and periodic analysis of mortality/lapse data and trends
- Projection of income and expense cashflows on business unit and enterprise-level basis
- Examination of profitability on retrospective and prospective basis
- Development and analysis of unit expense data for life insurance pricing
- Produce management reports of key metrics
- Collaborate with ML engineer to develop insights into decrement data

**Requirements**:
Must have:

- University degree in Mathematics, Economics or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an actuarial analyst
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with actuarial methodologies and economic concepts to perform the above responsibilities
- Strong statistical modeling skills
- Knowledge of a scripting language (Python or R)
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, demanding environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
