**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Scheduling and facilitating all English language placement and proficiency testing for post-secondary, English for Academic Preparation (EAP), English Language & Culture Program (ELCP) international students
- Language assessments including remote testing for all ESL programs conducted outside of the regularly scheduled orientation times
- Communicate and deliver information to all stakeholders, including the Associate Dean, EAP Coordinator, ESL Student Advisor, faculty, orientation staff, and IT

**Qualifications**:

- Possesses a minimum of a university degree and certification in TESL
- Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in ESL
- Experience in language placement/proficiency testing and evaluation is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of the English for Academic Preparation program, IELTS, and the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in working with databases to convert lists into tracking documents and to collect information on trends in statistics related to solving placement issues
- The ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, problem solve under pressure, and maintain a professional and positive demeanor
