**The Opportunity**:
This position is responsible for assisting with the development, monitoring, implementing and evaluation of fitness and wellness programs and services.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 2 year post secondary diploma in physical education, kinesiology or recreation.
- AFLCA resistance training certification (or equivalent certification from another recognized association).
- Intermediate First Aid certification.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s license.
- 1 year experience in a fitness centre instructing group exercise classes.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the qualities to thrive within a team environment.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written and listening skills.
- Ability to instruct, motivate and encourage others.
- Proven to be self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrate punctuality, adaptability and flexibility.
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends is essential.

**Remuneration**:
$29.91 to $31.66 per hour. (2024 Rates)

**Hours of Work**:
40 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Shifts include early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends to meet the needs to the facility.

**Additional Information**:
The term of this position is anticipated to be approximately 12 months.
