**The Opportunity**:
This position is required to instruct various group fitness classes, monitor the fitness area and equipment, perform opening and closing procedures, and to provide direct program support to various recreation activities and events. This position will be located at the GH Dawe Community Centre.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Fitness Alberta (AFLCA) Certification in Group Fitness or Resistance training is required.
- Standard First Aid.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values.

**Affiliation**:

**Remuneration**:
$26.25 to $27.63 per hour.

**Hours of Work**:
40 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Shifts will include a mix of evenings, weekends, weekdays and early mornings as fitness classes and business needs are required.
