We are currently searching for a professional Shunt Truck DriverI/ AZ license required 2+ years. Drive shunt vehicles within the confines of the exterior worksite. Loading and unloading of cargo at the yard site down the street.

**Job Duties/Requirements**
- Operates shunt vehicles within the confines of the exterior worksite
- Locates the required trailers in the yard
- Parks trailers in locations where they are safe and readily available
- Ensures that trailers are moved to locations on premises to allow for loading, unloading, parking or maintenance ensuring the appropriate trailer is moved to the appropriate dock/location
- Ensures that the corresponding paperwork accompanies the appropriate trailer
- Must have a Valid AZ License

Must be safety oriented, with proper PPE, such as steel toed work boots, reflective vest, safety glasses with side shields, hard hat, hearing protection as well no shorts or tank tops.
Must be a team player as the job requires communication to run smoothly.
Must be able to follow instructions from dispatch.

**Responsibilities**:

- Using the shunt truck, shunt trailers into the loading bays safely and securely
- Circle check trailers, look for damage, inoperable lighting, brakes etc., and look for possible tampering of trailers which could involve illegal trafficking of drugs or weapons.
- Constantly check the conditions of chains, bunks, binders and straps.
- A load bar is used to tighten the lever type binders, chains must be tight.
- Fill in required load sheets and submit to dispatch.

Pay Rate: $23hr-25hr based on experience

Shift: 6pm start 8 hours a day or when job is complete

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
