**Job Overview**
As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the automotive service industry by acting as a liaison between customers and the service department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate the smooth operation of the service process.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and assess their service needs
- Provide detailed explanations of services required and associated costs
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on their vehicles
- Communicate effectively with technicians and service manager to ensure timely completion of services
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain customer records and service history
- Ability to assist parts manager with ordering and stocking of inventory (considered an asset)

**Skills**:

- Strong automotive repair knowledge to accurately assess customer needs
- Exceptional customer service skills to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand service requirements
- Previous experience in a heavy truck shop setting is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively with mechanics and other team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Heavy duty truck service: 2 years (required)
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (required)
